What exactly is a Life Coach? 
I think most people don’t quite understand. 
 
Life coaches are wellness professionals that assist people in making progress in their lives so that they may attain greater fulfillment. We help our clients in understanding and improving their day-to-day lives. Coaching is action-oriented, focusing on where you are presently in your life and where you would like to be in the future. During the process, we will clarify your goals, identify the obstacles that are holding you back, and then come up with strategies to overcome each obstacle.    In creating these strategies, we will target your unique skills and gifts, making the most of your strengths.
 
I will be there with you, offering you my insight, support, and encouragement. I will serve as your guide with thought-provoking questions and exercises, while teaching you the tools that will help you find your way. I’ve got your back!

What Life Coaching is not…
 
While I am a licensed therapist, eCoaching and Life Coaching are not clinical mental health services. There is no diagnosis or treatment of mental health concerns. During our consultation and through intake paperwork, I will gain an understanding of your coaching interests. If I find they would be better addressed with a mental health professional I will let you know. If throughout our coaching relationship I find that mental health services are more appropriate, I will discuss this with you and make the appropriate referral. There are many people who engage in coaching and counseling simultaneously with different professionals.
